Nintendo Announces Wii U Release Dates

Nintendo has announced the release dates for the Wii U in Japan, North America, and Europe. Nintendo has also announced that there will be two versions of the Wii U, a white 8GB basic version and a black 32GB deluxe version. The basic 8GB version will include one Wii U GamePad, an AC adapter, HDMI cable, and a sensor bar.

In North America, the Wii U will launch on November 18, 2012 and will cost $299.99 for the white 8GB version and $349.99 for the black 32GB version.
In Europe, the Wii U will launch on November 30, 2012.
In Japan, the Wii U will launch on December 8, 2012 and will cost ¥26,250 for the white 8GB version and ¥31,500 for the black 32GB version.




Nintendo expects to have 50 titles available for the Wii U by the end of March 2013 including 'Call of Duty Black Ops 2', 'Mass Effect 3', '007 Legends', and 'New Super Mario Bros. Wii U'. 'Bayonetta 2' has also been announced as a Wii U exclusive and Platinum Games' 'Project P100' has been renamed 'The Wonderful 101'.

Nintendo has also announced Nintendo TVii. Nintendo TVii allows users to find and watch television and movies with support from Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Amazon Instant Video. Nintendo TVii will only be available in Canada and the United States.
